17才を生きる高校生のM SPACE日記　vol.1
「早朝の音」真人－男子の場合
真人は高校２年生、クラブ活動はしていないが、音楽が好き。科学にも興味はある。人と社会のことを取りとめなく話して暮らしたい、まあジャーナリストなんていいかなと思う。進路はまだ決めたくない。


2025年6月20日（金）


AM 3:04


スマホのバイブが鳴る前に、目が覚めた。
目の奥がまだ少し重たいけど、外の空気が呼んでる感じがした。
M SPACEのリュックに入れたのは、薄手のフリースとカメラと、折りたたみのコーヒーフィルター。
スピーカーは迷ったけど、今日は持っていくって決めてた。
高尾の山で、音を鳴らしてみたかったんだ。


AM 4:10


まだ真っ暗。
登山口の鳥居の下で、ヘッドライトを点けると、虫の羽音と土の匂いが一気に立ち上がる。
音楽をかけるのはもう少し後。
今は、耳を澄ませる時間。


空がだんだん青くなるころ、
地面が音を立て始めるのがわかる。
「無音」って存在しないんだなって思う。


AM 5:02


中腹の広場で立ち止まる。
少し息が切れてる。
呼吸が早くなると、テンポの速いビートが頭の中に流れ出す。
それが音楽になって、自分の鼓動と重なっていくのが面白い。


Bluetoothスピーカーをリュックから取り出す。
最初に流したのは、Thundercatの“Dragonball Durag”。
誰もいない山の中に、ベースが低く響いたとき、
森の空気が一瞬だけ微笑んだ気がした。


AM 6:11


頂上に着いた。
曇りがちだったけど、東の空にうっすら朝日が滲んでた。
コーヒーをいれて、ちびちび飲みながら、
小さなノートに、今日のキーワードを書き出す。


音


呼吸


空の色


山の匂い


そしてひとつ、
「何かをやった」っていう感覚。


SNSで誰かにいいねされるよりも、
こうして山を登って、音を鳴らして、自分で“今日”を作った感じが気持ちいい。


帰り道、
すれ違ったおじさんに「おはようございます」って言ったら、
「早いねぇ」って笑ってた。


なんか、
それだけで今日がひとつ“完成”した気がしたんだよね。

Makoto is a second-year high school student. He doesn’t belong to any club, but he loves music. He’s also interested in science. He wants to talk freely about people and society—maybe being a journalist wouldn’t be a bad idea. He doesn’t want to decide his future just yet.

I woke up before my phone’s vibration alarm went off.
My eyes still felt a bit heavy, but it felt like the outside air was calling me.
In my M SPACE backpack, I packed a light fleece, a camera, and a foldable coffee filter.
I debated about the speaker, but today I’d already decided to bring it.
I wanted to try playing sound in the mountains of Takao.


4:10 AM


Still pitch dark.
Under the torii gate at the trailhead, I turned on my headlamp, and suddenly the buzzing of insects and the smell of soil rose all at once.
It’s not time to play music yet.
Now is the time to listen carefully.


As the sky slowly turned blue,
I could hear the ground starting to make sound.
I realized there’s no such thing as “silence.”


5:02 AM


I stopped at an open space halfway up.
Breathing a little hard.
As my breathing quickened, a fast-tempo beat started playing in my head.
It was fun how it turned into music, syncing with the rhythm of my heartbeat.


I took out the Bluetooth speaker from my backpack.
The first song I played was “Dragonball Durag” by Thundercat.
When the bass echoed low through the empty mountains,
it felt like the forest air smiled for just a moment.


6:11 AM


I reached the summit.
It was mostly cloudy, but a faint sunrise was bleeding into the eastern sky.
I made some coffee and sipped it slowly
while writing down today’s keywords in a small notebook.


Sound
Breath
Sky color
Mountain scent


And one more thing:
That sense of “I did something.”


More than getting likes on social media,
climbing this mountain, playing sound, and creating “today” for myself felt truly good.


On the way down,
I said “Good morning” to a man I passed by.
He smiled and said, “You’re up early.”


Somehow,
that alone made today feel complete.

當天空漸漸轉為藍色時，
我能感覺到地面開始發出聲音。
讓我覺得「無聲」其實是不存在的。

在半山腰的廣場停下了腳步。
有點氣喘吁吁。
當呼吸變快時，腦中開始響起節奏快速的節拍。
這節拍變成音樂，與我的心跳重疊，感覺非常有趣。


我從背包裡拿出藍牙喇叭。
第一首播放的是 Thundercat 的《Dragonball Durag》。
當低沉的貝斯聲在無人的山中迴盪時，
我感覺森林的空氣仿佛在那一瞬間微笑了。

到達山頂。
