介護ボランティアのオリエン見学。
説明は、思っていたより静かで、具体的だった。
見守り、声かけ、物の位置、段差の確認。
できることは、驚くほど小さい。

申込表の第一希望枠は満員だった。
赤い×印。
一度ペンを止めて、別の枠に丸をつける。
焦らない。続けられるほうを選ぶ。

PM4:10
帰りの廊下で、スケジュール表の空白を見つめる。
週に一度、十五分でも。
たとえば、本のページをめくる手伝い。
たとえば、飲み物のストローの角度を変える。

PM6:22
小さな役割を、具体的に紙に書いた。
始める日付に丸をつける。
大きな未来に圧倒されないために、最小から。

小さいことを、ゆっくり重ねる。その続きが、きっと介護になる。

The explanations were quieter—and more concrete—than I’d imagined.
Watchful presence, gentle prompts, where items are placed, checking steps and thresholds.
What I can do is surprisingly small.

My first‑choice slot on the application was full.
A red X.
I paused my pen, then circled another slot.
Don’t rush. Choose the one I can sustain.

4:10 PM
In the hallway on the way back, I stared at the blanks on the schedule sheet.
Even once a week—even fifteen minutes.
For example, helping turn pages.
For example, adjusting the angle of a drinking straw.

6:22 PM
I wrote the small roles down, concretely, on paper.
I circled the date I’ll start.
To keep from being overwhelmed by a big future, begin with the smallest.

回程的走廊上，我盯著行事曆的空白。
